Neurobiology + Silicon, 2019

Koniku is merging living biological cells with traditional silicon hardware to achieve novel forms of sensing and computation.

During my one-month winter internship, I designed mechanisms, software, and a GUI for a lab automation robot. I also contributed to the electrical, mechanical, and thermal development of a mobile life support chamber for a sensing device which contains biological cells.

Additionally, I connected with investors and VCs, performed competitive analyses on other companies, and investigated market verticals for odor perception technology.
